High School students prepared for Regional Choir Auditions at our vocal workshop, Thursday, January 14, 4 pm - 6 pm at Corona del Sol High School, in the choir room.

Adrienne Turner Goglia received her Master’s Degree in Music Theatre and Opera Performance from ASU in 2007. She has been competing and performing since she was 7 years old in Calgary, Canda and has studied at the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria. She has also performed in many ASU Lyric Opera Theater productions including including A Chorus Line, Once Upon A Mattress, Anything Goes, Godspell, Die Fledermaus, Caterina’s Son, Dialogues of the Carmelites, and American Gothic. She also performed in Central Community Theatre’s productions of Side by Side by Sondheim and Nunsense! She currently works in the School of Music at ASU and teaches private voice lessons through her home studio and has begun rehearsals for Phoenix Theater’s A Light in the Piazza.
Soprano Jillanne Ulep has a bachelor’s degree with highest honors in Choral Music Education from Northern Arizona University. At NAU, she studied voice with Dr. Judith Cloud and student directed the NAU Men’s Chorale in the fall of 2006. She worked as the general music teacher at three elementary schools in the Higley Unified School District from 2007-2009. She has been teaching private voice and piano lessons for several years, recently teaching at the Arizona Music Academy in Tempe. She has worked as a vocal coach for musical productions for Kyrene Middle School and also has worked as a private vocal coach. Jillanne has been a featured soloist in the community, performing works such as Vivaldi’s Gloria and Handel’s Messiah. She has also worked as a professional singer, performing with the Dickens Carolers beginning in 1998.
Tenor Michael Rogan has a bachelor's degree in music from Northern Arizona University, where he studied voice with Judith Cloud. At NAU, he performed the roles of Don Curzio in Le nozze di Figaro, Dr. Blind in Die Fledermaus, and Harlekin in Der Kaiser von Atlantis. Since returning to the Phoenix area in 2006, Michael has been the featured tenor soloist for several community choral performances, as well as a participant in the “American Bach” series, now known as the Arizona Bach Festival. As a high school student, he was first chair tenor for Regional and All-State Honor Choirs from 1999-2001; since 2002, he has frequently served as a sight-singing judge for Regional and All-State auditions. Michael currently sings with the East Valley Mormon Choral Organization, and he enjoys composing and arranging music for choirs.
Mezzo Soprano/Alto Tess Gray received her Bachelor's Degree in Choral Music Education from Northern Arizona University, graduating Cum Laude in December 2009. While at NAU, Tess studied voice with Margaret Gunderson, was a member of the Shrine of the Ages Choir and top Vocal Jazz Ensemble for three years, served as NAU ACDA Carolers Coordinator for the 2008 holiday season, and student conducted NAU's University Singers in the spring of 2009. She recently completed her student teaching in Choral Music at Marcos de Niza High School in Tempe, AZ and Shepherd Jr. High School in Mesa, AZ in the fall of 2009. While in high school, Tess was a four-year participant of the Arizona Central Region and Arizona All-State Choirs from 2002-2005. She currently works as a private vocal coach for high-school students.
