Arts Council for Youth mission

  • Promoting visual arts and performing arts for all students

  • Providing opportunities and financial support in arts disciplines for students in Tempe Union, Kyrene and Tempe Elementary public schools

Arts Council for Youth is a non-profit organization formed in February 2007, designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations to Arts Council for Youth are tax-deductible and used to support Arts Programs, Students, and Educators in Tempe Union, Kyrene and Tempe Elementary public schools.

Rent booth space at Arts Jam!

Click here for application form. Early bird price through March 22, 2010 for BUSINESSES: Just $20 (goes up to $30 on March 23, 2010). Regular price for businesses from March 23 - April 3: $30. Early bird price for NON-PROFIT GROUPS, SCHOOL CLUBS, MUSIC TEACHERS: $10 (goes up to $20 on March 23rd). Be a part of this unique outdoor arts festival Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Corona del Sol High School courtyard and amphitheater.

 
Arts Jam April 10, 2010!
Come outdoors and enjoy the day at Corona del Sol courtyard and amphitheater (1001 E. Knox Road, Tempe 85284) with performing groups from Elementary Schools to High Schools, jewelry for sale by students, fabric crafts, free art activities for kids sponsored by City of Tempe, Kyrene Foundation and other groups.

Help us support arts in our schools.

We appreciate your donation. Click on the Donate button to securely make a tax-deductible donation using PayPal.

A $10 donation for family membership for the 2009-2010 school year includes benefits of discounts at local stores, discounts on workshops, priority notices for tickets and "Now playing" bulletins. We will mail you a membership card and benefit details. Please include your email address in the note space provided by PayPal.

If you wish your donation to give credit to a fine arts teacher in a Kyrene or Tempe school, please list their name in the note space provided by PayPal. We will send you verification so you know the credit was directed to the teacher's program of your choice.

A $100 donation includes all the above benefits of membership, plus listing in programs and website link.  

Other amounts may be donated, such as to the Damon Russell Fawcett Memorial Music Scholarship Fund. Please include a note in the space provided by PayPal if you wish your donation to go to the scholarship fund.
